  • Our kettlebell programs are specifically designed to complement swim training. Coach Dan Daly, CSCS, has created workouts that target the unique strength, endurance, and power requirements for swimmers, ensuring that every exercise enhances your swimming performance.

  • Yes, our programs are suitable for all levels. The Kettlebell Conditioning Program is ideal for beginners, as it focuses on building a solid foundation and preparing your body for more advanced movements. As you progress, you can move on to our Strength, Endurance, and Power programs.

  • You will need 1-4 kettlebells for all programs. The weight of the kettlebells depends on your experience and strength level. If you are unsure about the appropriate weight, Coach Dan Daly can provide recommendations based on your fitness level. Generally, for women 8-20 kg (16-40lbs), and for men 12-32 kg (24-75lbs)

  • Once you purchase a program, you will receive and email with a link to download the Train Heroic mobile app with access to the workouts and instructions via our mobile platform. Each program includes in-app video tutorials, and written instructions and cues to guide you through every step of your training. In-app messaging provides access for questions and feedback, as well as submitting your own videos for technique feedback and additional coaching.

  • If you have any injuries or medical concerns, it’s important to consult with your medical professional before starting a new workout program. You may also contact Coach Dan Daly for personalized advice on seeking out medical guidance, and to modify exercises as needed. Injury should not preclude you from training. In most cases training can facilitate the healing process.

  • Absolutely! Our kettlebell training programs are designed to complement your swim training. They focus on functional strength and conditioning that will improve your performance in the water. You can easily fit the sessions into your weekly swim schedule. Resistance or dryland training for swimming provides a low volume stimulus, developing the complimentary fast twitch muscle fibers for strength and power, complimenting the slow twitch endurance focus of many swim training programs.

  • You can follow these programs at home or in a gym, as long as you have the required kettlebells and enough space to perform the exercises safely. The workouts are flexible and designed to be accessible in various settings.
